The Hardest Thing I've Ever Loved To Do

So lately I have been thinking a lot about missionary work - and have been better preparing myself to serve for quite some time now . The link below shares a song that has been getting me even more into the spirit of serving - and I hope that if you listen , you too , will feel the spirit ever so strongly as you listen to the words .

Serving a full time mission is sometimes not for all of us - perhaps it is just not a part of your journey . So I challenge you to do what Neil A . Anderson says , and that is to paint a missionary tag on your heart . Serve your fellow friends and neighbors . Be a friend to those in need . Talk to them about church related things . It will bring you and hopefully them a greater joy . I find that I am happiest when I am closer to my Savior , Jesus Christ , and my Heavenly Father . And with my decision to serve a mission , that is what I fully intend to do - become closer to my Father in Heaven and bring people closer to God , and help them find happiness .

He Lives!

President Thomas S. Monson

“ With all my heart and the fervency of my soul , I lift up my voice in testimony as a special witness and declare that God does live . Jesus is His Son , the Only Begotten of the Father in the flesh . He is our Redeemer ; He is our Mediator with the Father . He it was who died on the cross to atone for our sins . He became the firstfruits of the Resurrection . Because He died , all shall live again . ‘ Oh, sweet the joy this sentence gives : “ I know that my Redeemer lives ! ”  ’ May the whole world know it and live by that knowledge , I humbly pray , in the name of Jesus Christ , the Lord and Savior , amen . ”

I have a testimony that Christ lives - and that He died for me . He is my Savior and my friend .  I know that He loves me and will always be there for me . He has helped me get through the hard times and has built upon and added to my testimony many times . I know that as I follow His example and try my best to be like him that I will be blessed .

 And now, after the many testimonies which have been given of him, this is the testimony, last of all, which we give of him: That he lives! (D&C 76:22).

Through hard times, if we pray to our Heavenly Father for comfort , He will give it to us . So long as we are trying our best to be faithful . He will never leave your side , even if you feel lonely or broken down , He is with you . You just have to let Him in .

3 Nephi 27 : 29

 29 Therefore, ^aask, and ye shall receive; knock, and it shall be opened unto you; for he that asketh, receiveth; and unto him that knocketh, it shall be opened.
