My Bucket List

I know some of these might not be realistic, but a girl can dream right? And besides, I can do all in my power to make them happen. So here is the question I pose for you bloggers out there today - what is your bucket list?

--Travel
--Study Abroad
--Visit all ( or as many as I can ) of the Temples built by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
--Write novels
--Be the voice of a cartoon
--Ride in a hot air balloon ( I'm terrified of heights )
--Graduate from BYU-I with a degree in English
--Adopt
--Have children
--Play the piano somewhere outdoors ( like the Piano Guys for example )
--Learn to play the Acordian
--Learn to play the Harp
--Go on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
--Be a loving wife and mother
--Pet a wild animal
--Buy a house
--Direct a 'movie' with friends
--Go to a concert ( I've been to a few concerts, but they have been for my church with a ton of youth )
--Ride an elephant

Have a good day all =)

Italian Princess

I'm slacking on the whole, 'writing on the blog often' thing, BUT, atleast I'm writing now, right? ; )
So this year I have been able to have the pleasure to be friends with some exchange students this year. One of them is this lovely lady to the left. This Italian Princess and I have been able to become pretty good friends over the time we have known each other and I am sad to see her go back to Italy. Fortunately for my friends and I, we were able to have breakfast with this lovely lady at Shari's restaurant this morning. With some final gifts and last hugs goodbye, she was on her way.
This afternoon, my friend and I were able to skype a friend who lives in Brazil. It felt good to get caught up with him and to be able to catch up on what is going on in one an others lives.
So here is the question for all you bloggers out there - If you have any foreign exchange friends, where are they from? And do you still keep in touch?
For all of you that are bored enough to read my blog, have a   wonderful day : )

Acrophobia... Say What?

I clung to the bars of the roller coaster like it was all that I had left in life. I hated roller coasters, and after much teasing from my friends I gave in and got on. And what a "big shocker" it was to find out that I was scared of heights. The ride wasn't bad at first. The click click click of the tracks as the cart began to move wasn't too bad. It was a good speed, not too fast, and we weren't too high. Then came the thrill of the cart going up a steep turn up the tracks. Click click click the cart said as it climbed to the top. My sweaty fingers held on tighter as the ride paused for a second at the top. Then came the horrifying drop that turned my gut upside down, caused my body to tense, and my screams to escape.

I'm sure I'm not the only one with this fear, and for those of you that do have it, I apologize. Not like it is my fault our anything, I just feel your pain on this matter. I mean really, I can't even stand on a five foot latter without feeling uncomfortable. Of course, this isn't my only fear, but it is one of the main ones. So this is where I pose the question - Why do we have phobias? It is probably all in our head. For me, I don't remember ever actually developing a fear of heights, I just always have been. But for other fears, they have developed because of a certain event or a series of events. Because there is no particular event for me that has caused my Acrophobia, I ask the question to you bloggers out there - Why are you afraid of heights and what caused it?

Brand New Blog

Hey all you bloggers out there,

Like many of you out there I've decided to start a blog. I don't promise to be any good at it, but I am willing to take a crack at it. Because of my lack of skills at being able to remember to write in my journal, I'm thinking that this blog will help me to get some things down on "paper".

Besides all of that here is a little about me:
I am an aspiring writer who wants to put herself out there.
I'm a dreamer who wants to do much in life.
I want to make a difference.
I always strive to do my best.
I'm shy till you get to know me.
I think stupid jokes are funny.
I like taking pictures (as you will probably discover as I get going on this blog).
I'm an artist.
I say "I" too much.
I'm kind of a nerd.
I play the clarinet and piano.
I always have my nose in a book.
I'm addicted to chocolate covered pretzels.
I hate running.
I'm a Mormon. I know it, I live it, I love it.
I'm perfectly imperfect.

That's all for now. I hope you all have a marvelous day!
